It's Christmas Eve, the perfect day to read a favorite story about the holiday season, so I thought I'd share a link to "The Gift of the Magi" by O. Henry. In the course of my internet wanderings the other day, I came across an interesting website called Writing World. It has a ton of articles on each major literary genre with advice on how to write well in that genre. Today I was wasting time on Sporcle and came across this quiz: it gives you the plot summaries of famous works of literature -- in FML form -- and you have to guess the titles. It's only fair for me to tell you that the website is incredibly addictive. You've been warned.

I've been on a book-acquiring rampage lately.
